CHRISTMAS!!!!!

We had a fabulous Christmas. The kids got way too many toys and now is the task of finding where to put them. We stayed home all day in our PJs and ate cinammon rolls for breakfast. I cooked us lunch at around 3pm. We had ham, corn, green bean casserole, rolls, and mashed potatos and gravy. It tasted wonderful the only thing missing was evryone we love. The kids played and played with no need for a nap at all. I was ready to call it a day long before their batteries wore out. There was still a touch of snow outside, but the sun was shining most of the day. Paige sat out reindeer food and cookies too. Her favorite present was her  new Honey doll that replaced the one that was lost when we got here. She got it from her Papa Bill. Clay Riley was just taking it all in he seemed to enjoy Paige's toys too. We were set to go to the churches Christmas Eve service but it got pushed  back til eight instead of six. So we were all dressed up with nowhere to go. We took some pics in front of the tree though. I did add some pictures of the house too. Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year!!

A Lot Of Catching Up

So I've gotten way behind on this blog. Finding an internet connection and having the website work at the same time is almost impossible. We did go to London on Thanksgiving didn't get any pictures of the church didn't think it would be very proper taking pictures during a service. We made it to see Big Ben, the London Eye, (looks quite scary), and the aquarium. All three were amazing. I do have some pictures. That really took up a majority of our day. Paige was excited all the way there and glad to finally see Big Ben. We got our household goods on the 2nd of Dec just in time to get the tree up and start the unpacking process (still going). A few things were damaged just waiting to hear on them. The kids took pics in front of the tree with Clay Riley in a suit no coat, but adorable nonetheless. Paige is doing her trademark smile with the head tilt. Gotta love them. We have really settled into our house have gone to the movies and some restraunts close by. Tomorrow we are off to go ice skating. We got our presents sent back home in plenty of time and are anxious to see everyones face when they open them. Paige also had a Christmas play, but it takes forever to download the videos. I'll try to post them on facebook. I did make some butter crunch not quite the same they didn't have almond bark here. I had to use chocolate chips instead. Most everything for Christmas is here still looking for a box from the family and Paige's gift from mom and dad. Thank you to Doug and Janice for the wonderful Christmas card and the present. It was lovely. Heather you've got your hands full with that little cutie she is precious. We really really wanted to be home for Christmas, but.... things didn't work out that way. I've had a few moments, but am really looking forward to being with the kids and holdin them tight. LOVE YOU ALL!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving Play

Paige's class had a Thanksgiving play today. It was awesome. She made this Momma so proud. She sang beautifully and stayed still when it wasn't her turn. It was an awesome time together. Afterwards we had a feast (paige's word). It was really good. We are still planning on going on Thanksgiving to St Paul's Catherdral. I'm really looking forward to it. Paige really like the flowers I bought and told her they were from Daddy. It made her sparkle even more. In most of the videos she is on the left side back row.We still haven't gotten our household goods. Hopefully soon though. I'll be in class most of next week so may not get to talk to anyone on Facebook.  I also got a new addition to my camera collection hope to get up a picture or two. Hope to try and webcam on Thanksgiving with the family. Love you all!!!!

SOOOOOOO Busy

It has been awhile since I've had a chance to let everyone know what we are doing. We officially moved into our house this last weekend, but don't have our household goods yet so we can't get the cable, internet, and phone hooked up at home. I've been in class since the beginning of this week and can't get on facebook even to say hi. Paige is doing great at school and will be in a Thanksgiving play next week she will be playing the part of the winter season with one other girl from her class. We have been using the library on base a lot mainly for movies, but alot of books too. We have ventured out from our house a little and found McDonalds. It is definately a little different than what we are use to back in the States but the taste is the same. I took a pic of Paige and her happy meal. They have free tickets to see Alpha and Omega so we will probably go this weekend since the movie theater is just around the corner along with a KFC, Blockbuster, and Staples. We will go see Megamind here on the base soon though. Clay Riley is adjusting well. He still fusses when I drop him off in the morning, but is fine after I leave. He has a cold right now and his nose is constantly running. He keeps me busy. Another thing about Paige she is learning Spanish in Kindergarten. I was quite impressed that they start teaching them another lanuage at such an early age. Clay Riley will more than likely be the one to develop the British accent a lot in part to the fact that several of his teachers at the CDC are British. I can wait until he starts talking more. Me I'm doing okay miss my hubby, family and friends very much ya'll are on my mind a lot especially this month. We will be going with the church group to London on Thanksgiving to one of the cathedrals. I'm super excited to see London. My overall assessment of England: Don't like the weather but can get over that, love just driving and peeking out the window at all the sights. Patty as a fellow photographer you would love it here the entire place is just waiting to be photographed. Shana you would love Tesco or rather Skylie would love it they have awesome cute girl clothes. Well I gotta go pick up the kids will write when I can.

Catching Up With An Old Friend

Today we went to Mildenhall to see a friend practically an auntie to my kids. Leea was my supervisor at Altus and has been around to watch both of my kids. Paige adores her. We went to her house and then off to a bazaar on the base she is at. It  was awesome a little pricey, but well worth it. Leea treated us to a lot. Paige has developed a lot more courage. She tried the bungee attached to a trampoline. I took pics. She wanted to do it again. WOW!! She has grown leaps and bounds. I'm becoming quite good at making it from point A to point B. Leea got Paige a beautiful fairy dress and Toy Story 3 for both of the kids. She is watching as I type. I can't wait to have visitors it was really nice to see a familiar face today and have a great time with the kids. I think I'm going to like this place!!!
